RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PROGRAMME
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
  • The Ismaya Restaurant Management Training Program is an exclusive program targeted at fresh graduates who are passionate about the service industry.
  • New recruits in this entry level training program receive nine months of service and management training, that includes rotations in our various restaurants and support center operations
  • This program is ideal for individuals interested in restaurant management who do not have extensive experience in the industry
  • It provides the theoretical and hands-on experience needed to build the skills to run and manage an Ismaya Group Restaurant.
Candidates for our Ismaya Restaurant Management Training Program must be open to relocation during the training. Upon completion of the  Management Training Program, you will be a certified Assistant Manager and relocated to a location and brand that business needs dictate. Graduates of the program serve as Assistant Managers and are usually on the fast track to an Operations Manager position.
JOB SPECIFICATION
EDUCATION LEVEL
  • Diploma Degree  in F&B and Hospitality Management and or Food Technology with GPA min 3.00 from a reputable university
  • Good command of the English language in speaking and writing. Additional language is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
EXPERIENCE
  • Hospitality experience preferred but not essential (Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply)
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
TECHNICAL
  • Computer skills (Word, Power Point/Excel spreadsheet, etc)
  • Basic presentation skills
  • Able to work long hours
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
BEHAVIORAL

CHEF MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PROGRAMME
Specializations: Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, Commis Chef
A chef, plan, organize the preparations and cooking of food, arranges and presents food that is served in dining or catering establishment.
Chefs that work in large establishments may specialize in a particular cuisine, such as Western, Italian, Asian.
A chef is also responsible for managing kitchen operations, purchasing foodstuffs, and keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic. Other responsibilities include receiving and storing provisions, planning menus, and training and supervising other staff.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

  • The training program receive nine months of kitchen and management training, that includes rotations in our various restaurants and support center operations
  • This program is ideal for individuals interested in kitchen management who do not have extensive experience in the industry
  • It provides the theoretical and hands-on experience needed to build the skills to run and manage the kitchen at Ismaya Group Restaurant.
Candidates for our Ismaya Chef Management Training Program must be open to relocation during the training. Upon completion of the  Management Training Program, you will be a certified Sous Chef or Head Chef and relocated to a location and brand that business needs dictate. Graduates of the program serve as Sous Chef or Head Chef and are usually on the fast track to an Executive Chef position.

  • Preferably local candidate with minimum Diploma Degree  in F&B / Hospitality Management / Culinary with GPA min 3.00 from a reputable university. Overseas graduated is a must
  • Good command of the English language in speaking and writing. Additional language is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE
  • Profile for Talent Chef currently handling multiple operations, or for current restaurant group company Background in Western and Asian cuisines, large kitchen operations
  • Has previous experience doing multiple opening and pre-openings shops, brands, outlets, or hotels
